Heath began dancing in Northern NSW/Gold Coast where he attended Palm Beach-Currumbin Dance Excellence Program and performed at the Gold Coast Arts Centre, alongside Rob Guest.
Heath studied under full-scholarship at ED5 International in 2005.
Upon graduating, he went on to play the role of ‘Chistery’ in Wicked (Universal Studios Japan), performing on the Pacific Sun (P&O Cruises), touring Asia and the Middle East with Barney and Friends (Millennium Entertainment) as well as various corporate and commercial entertainment throughout Australia.
In 2010 Heath appeared on So You Think You Can Dance Australia (Series 2) as a Top 100 contestant. Exiting the competition after breaking his foot;
he returned the following year (Series 3) making it to the Top 11 and since then has been cast in major musicals, Hairspray, A Chorus Line, Handa Opera’s Carmen, and most recently the Australian tour of Grease.
Heath has performed on numerous commercial stages and live/TV/events including X Factor (dancer), Dance Academy, Logies, Sunrise, Today Show, Kerri-anne, HEY HEY it’s Saturday, and Australian Idol, alongside many local and international artists including Kylie Minogue, Taylor Swift, Ricki-Lee, Little Mix, Kelis, Sneaky Sound System, Alexandra Burke, Samantha Jade, Boy George, Gabriella Cilmi, Guy Sebastian, Anthony Callea, Zoe Badwi, Paulini, Deborah Cox, Luciana, Katie Noonan, Prinnie Stevens, Rogue Traders, Todd McKenny, Effie, Marcia Hines, Bob Down, Nikki Webster and Kate Alexa at various live-televised events and music videos.
Behind the scenes Heath has choreographed for artists Kelis, Sneaky Sound System, Zoe Badwi, Angel Tupai, Katie Noonan’s Emperor’s Box Tour.
