Growing up in London in a Swedish speaking home, Embla’s first professional appearance was in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium on the West End. She went on to feature in two operas, La Boheme and The Magic Flute at Farrar Theatre, before moving to Sydney in 2009.
Embla graduated from WAAPA in 2016, and her credits during these three years include Legally Blonde, The World Goes Round, The Drowsy Chaperone, Bring it On and The Beautiful Game. Embla received recognition for her ABBA cabaret IKEA from the Jackman Furness Foundation.
Embla’s TV & Film credits include Madisson in Ben Elton’s feature film Three Summers.
In 2017 Embla made her debut with The Production Company in Jesus Christ Super Star then joined the
company again in Brigadoon.
Most recently Embla performed in Merrily We Roll Along with Little Triangle and Oklahoma with The Production Company.
