PRINNIE STEVENS
Prinnie Stevens is undoubtedly one of Australia’s most sought after performers – an incredible singer, dancer, songwriter and presenter, whose career is going from strength to strength.
She burst onto the scene at 17, performing in the Australian premiere of Rent:The Muscial. From there she was in constant demand performing in shows such as Leader Of The Pack and Footloose. It was her Helpmann nominated performance in Oh, What A Night! that took her to the next level – she was asked to move to New York and front an all-girl group for Sony Music. Whilst in New York, Prinnie worked with producers Dallas Austin, Lashawn Daniels, the legendary Rodney Jerkin & performed alongside Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Mary J Blige and John Legend.
Despite this success, Australia kept calling and Prinnie returned to her homeland. Upon her return Prinnie chose to step out and audition for the TV program, The Voice. She could not have imagined the success of the show nor the opportunities that would arise having made the top 4 in Team Joel. Not only did she stop a nation with her performances, she found a place in Australia’s heart.
After the headline commanding performances on The Voice, Prinnie was asked to join the cast of Celebrity Apprentice and also went on to become the Co-host on The Voice Kids season1. Whilst Prinnie has stepped over into the tv world Prinnie has always maintained her reputation for being one of Australia’s best live performers. Her versatility keeps her headlining shows all over the country and also has kept her successfully releasing music w single “don’t wake me up” No1 added across the board for Aus radio and “One night” EP debuting at #13 on the itunes chart.
